With this painting I really just wanted to paint the endangered White Rhino and juxtapose him in a sea of tropical fish (something about our endangered coral reefs?) then for compositional purposes a can of beans on fire, hey I don't have all the answers. I still lacked a dynamic so looking to my bedside table I saw a bottle of medication, boom that will do. It is in my world and people recognize it...
